A Quest to Lewes
Host Our Coast braved the Breakwater Junction Trail that connects Rehoboth to Lewes, Delaware. This beautiful six-mile trail winds through a bit of farm land, across marshland and through scenic wooded tunnels. Fear not, the trail is flat, making it quite approachable for everyone.
And without further ado, OUR adventure on The Breakwater Junction Trail:

Trail Tips:
Just a thought: While the ladies do their outlet shopping, have the kids (and maybe Dad) ride through the woods. The trail starts literally behind the Tanger Outlet Center.
If you are a bit more ambitious, downtown Lewes is about a mile from the end of the trail to the right...keep pedaling and visit this historic seaport town with a wide array of restaurants. (Agave has delicious Mexican.)
If you decide to head to Lewes, you will pass Lucky Penny's Produce on the left...veggies fresh from Sue's garden are 2 for $1 and huge sun flowers for $2 a stem.
For the more adventurous, pack a picnic lunch; there's plenty of grassy spots and wooded overpasses perfect for a lunch on the lawn.
