Roaring engines heralded the arrival of a massive fleet of combines, tractors and politicians, as upwards of 3,000 spectators flocked the streets for the show. This is how the people of Snow Hill pray for a good harvest; by getting out the big guns. It's in everyone's best interest to hope for a good harvest, for this is where our sustenance comes from. Taking those hopes upon his shoulders, Rev. Sumner Jones presided over the blessing and homily.
