BEER by Stewart’s

The suspension you're seeing in this beer is characteristic of a Black and Tan at Stewart's. The golden ale at the bottom is not fully fermented, having more viscosity than the dark stout which has more alcohol and floats on top. Served with frothing pride, this is one of the many beers made at Stewart's Brewing Co., another brew-pub along Delaware's famous Wine & Ale Trail.

More Than a Brewery

What's your staple drink? Most people have one – that type of beer they get every time they go out. They can walk into the bar and know just what they're going to ask for. It shows off confidence, I suppose. But then you have weirdoes like me who love to sample, ordering a different beer every night. Dogfish Head: The Homerun Hitter

When I started drinking beer, my intentions weren't much different then they are today. My friends and I would spend nights around our keg of flat, bland beer that reeked of hangover; we would talk and laugh the night away. We would fill our red Dixie cups with the yellow headache over and over again until we had our fill and fell asleep.

It wasn't until I graduated my higher education that I started to really explore my desire to drink this hopped beverage. My tastes started to change and I moved from drinking any beer I could get my hands on to finding something that I could enjoy for flavor while b.s.-ing with friends and family. Beer is brewed for enjoying while sitting around having a good time with good people.
